It lights a fire in your soul

It makes you feel young, never old

It is magnificent, omnipotent, over the top

It is adrenaline in your system

Feels so good – you cannot stop

It makes the eyes twinkle and the skin glow

It creeps into your system oh . . . so . . . slow

When the love bug hits, you cannot stop its flow

It fills your soul and makes you feel whole

It has confidence and is filled with great beauty

It is life at its best

Bring it with you everywhere you go

It breaks down walls and builds up pride and joy

As you go through life, I hope

Love is all these things and more

Got love

Give love

Be love

I am a writer who loves a good story be it happy, melancholy or inspirational. I've always loved writing and my earliest memory of writing was in the third grade. I've dabbled with short stories and poetry and I'm on a quest to finish my first novel--a long time coming but the finish line is looking closer and closer. I've kept all of my work hidden and private for so long that I'm determined to share some of my "art" with all of you. I hope to entertain and inspire my readers and hopefully give them a little mental escapism with the characters and narratives I've created.
